Chapter one consists the introduction, the background of the study, the general and specific objectives which are the basis for all the aspects of this report. This chapter also brings out the problem that sought a need for this research, the scope of the study and points out the significance of the study. Chapter two contains the literature review from different articles, textbooks and scholarly documents by different authors that are related to this research in one way or another. Discussion of the literature by the researcher is also part and parcel of this chapter. This chapter brings literature on the level of formal riders training, the trends of accident involving the boda boda industry and measures on how to ensure safety on all road users in Kampala city. Chapter three essentially looks at the different methods of data collection which included use of questionnaire, photography interviews. It also contains the sampling techniques used during the interviews and highlights on the data processing and analysis process. Chapter four contains the presentation of findings on the research objectives and the research questions presented in chapter one. Chapter five contains the interpretation of findings on the research objectives and the research questions presented in chapter four Chapter six is the last chapter of this research and includes the recommendations and the conclusion based on the research findings.
