dc.description.abstractIndustrial parks for example, Namanve industrial park, seem not to cater for the public social benefits, which is why the research entails to study the public spaces in Namanve industrial park and investigate their competence towards contributing to the quality of the public life, and working environment of the people. The case study method was used with a selection of different public spaces in Namanve Industrial park. Different data collection methods which included a review of existing literature, interviews and observations were also used. The findings of this study indicate that there is inadequacy of the public spaces in the Namanve industrial park which is contributed to by some open green spaces that are not yet designed and therefore not serving their purpose yet. The findings will contribute to the development of better and other useful public spaces for the users in industrial parks and increase awareness about the importance and benefits of public spaces in industrial parks.en_US
