One of the main important processes of sugar production is the clarification process. This process involves settlement of the suspended particles of the sugar cane juice down to the bottom of the vessel by the aid of the flocculant dosing well known as the flocculation process. This research, shows how the optimum amount of flocculant for efficient clarification of treated sugar cane juice is determined as well as how to improve on the flocculation process to enhance better clarification process that would bring about better quality in sugar production.en_US
