The study also focused on understanding the Pentecostal church both in general and in the Ugandan case. It discovered the relationship between the Pentecostal church and its musicians as well as with gospel music. It brought in light the different means that the Pentecostal church has played to assist the church musicians to develop their musical talents, the nature of the talents nurtured by the Pentecostal church, the Pentecostal church‟s view on the church being a space for the church musicians to develop their talents and finally the gospel music artists the church has natured.
The researcher carried out a qualitative study, with fieldwork in Kampala that involved tools such as; interviews, observation, participant observation and literature review, as well as attending the Pentecostal church services that involved these musical practices and performances. Furthermore, the researcher used the internet to gather various information concerning, the current study through the various search engines as well as photography to capture important moments for the study.
The research concluded that more effort should be put in the acquiring of musical knowledge by Pentecostal church musicians. This can be done during the church Sunday schools by training and teaching the coming generation with appropriate musical skills and knowledge, organizing musical workshops for their musicians, doing research on what is new and how it is done to avoid too much gambling with the musical instruments within the church services. In addition, the researcher would like to urge the church administrations to offer more support to the church musicians to boost their talents while doing the Pentecostal church music ministration.
