Horticulture is one of the fastest growing sectors in Uganda and is listed as a strategic export in the Uganda Strategic Exports Programme. However, the industry is faced with problems such as failure to meet international sanitary and phytosanitary standards and failure to control pests and diseases on the farm that lead to interception of horticultural exports at international markets. This project is aimed at developing a web application that can manage documentation of horticultural farm records and disseminate relevant information basing on the operations of Raintree Farms in Masindi so as to help improve the market value of Ugandan horticultural products through traceability and provision of crucial good agricultural practices. The web application will be developed using Python programming language and MySQL for a database management system.en_US
