    Abstract
The study examined the relationship between, peer pressure, stress and substance abuse among adolescents. It was conducted at Buwana High school in Mpigi District. A correlational survey design was used. A total sample of 100 respondents was selected by use of simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by use of questionnaires focusing on each variable and was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Pearson Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to determine the significance of the hypotheses. Findings revealed that peer pressure is a key factor in causing stress and substance abuse among adolescents. However it was revealed that stress is not significantly related to substance abuse among adolescents.
