Data was collected by use of questionnaires focusing on each variable and was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Pearson Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to determine the significance of the hypotheses. Findings revealed that peer pressure is a key factor in causing stress and substance abuse among adolescents.
