dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study established the relationship between perceived compensation, employee motivation and life satisfaction among employees of National Water and Sewerage Corporation Entebbe Branch. The research was guided by the following objectives; To examine the relationship between perceived compensation and employee motivation. To examine the relationship between employee motivation and life satisfaction and to examine the relationship between perceived compensation and life satisfaction. The researcher used a correlational research design focusing on employees of National Water and Sewerage Corporation Entebbe Branch. Findings in table 6 show that p = 0.008 and r = 0.328**,there is a positive significant relationship between perceived compensation and employee motivation. Results in table 7 show that p = 0.127 and r = 0.196, there is no significant relationship between perceived compensation and life satisfaction. Results in table 8 show that p = 0.006 and r = 0.350**, there is a positive significant relationship between employee motivation life satisfaction. In conclusion, employers are called upon to reward their employees effectively for the work done because this is a source of employee motivation with work done and that it also greatly affects the perceived life satisfaction by the employee. It was recommended that employees should through open window discussions with their employers give a clear picture of what they consider desired compensation from the employer so as to attain a satisfactory life from the employment compensation given. Employers should motivate their employees through avenues like granting them gifts, bonuses for work done. This leads to increased employee productivity and thus organizational growth.en_US
