    Abstract
This research looks at the effect of sexual self-esteem on academic performance among the students of Makerere University. The study aimed at establishing whether sexual self-esteem and academic performance are significantly related. Basing on our study, a conclusion was drawn that there is no significant relationship between the variables. The hypothesis which stated that sexual self-esteem and academic performance are significantly and positively related was rejected. Finally we found that despite the low and high levels of sexual self-esteem among students, they will still perform well as they carry on with their education.
