    Abstract
    Gender Based violence mainly affects women and girls in Uganda and one of the main causes is Communication. This study thus seeks to know how different Communication approaches have aggravated Gender Based Violence in Uganda. From the research carried out using the Lasswell Communication model and methods like Focus Group Discussions and Interviews, it was found out that Communication approaches have aggravated Gender Based Violence.
