dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at finding the relationship between Job satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The study was conducted to find out the different levels of Job satisfaction and OCB and how they contributed to the wellbeing and performance of the organization. To ensure effectiveness in the study, the correlation research design was used to acquire the data needed whereby a self-administered questionnaire was given to a number of a hundred medical staff of Makerere university at Mulago hospital used since with this, the result would not be influenced by the researcher. The results obtained were analyzed using Predictive analysis software. A concluding remark which indicated that satisfaction within the employees will lead to increased productivity and better performance as the employees would adopt behaviors such as helping each other at the workplace as a way of expressing their satisfaction and it was also indicated that dissatisfied employees will not perform at the workplace and this would be seen in many as they would fail to execute their given duties in time. Therefore, the management of the organization had the responsibility to ensure that the employees worked under favorable conditions so as to ensure better performance and productivity with in the organization.en_US
