dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between job design, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study aimed to achieve the following objectives; to examine the relationship between job design and job satisfaction at the workplace, to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment at the workplace, to investigate the relationship between job design and organizational commitment at the workplace. Across sectional survey design using quantitative approach was adopted and data was collected from a sample of 63 employees at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) The researcher used Pearson Product moment correlation coefficient (r) to test hypothesis. The findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between job design and job satisfaction, there is a significant relationship between job satisfactions and organizational commitment, there is no significant relationship between job design and organizational commitment. The researcher recommended that there is need to do more research on how job design indirectly relates to organizational commitment using more measurable means to create a wider dimension of the resultsen_US
