dc.description.abstractThe study investigated the relationship between social support, self-esteem and depression among University students. It was conducted among students of Makerere University. A cross-sectional survey design that was quantitative in nature was adopted. A sample of 100 university students both boys and girls aged between 15-30 years was selected by use of simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by use of semi-structured questionnaires and was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS v23). Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to test the significance of the hypotheses. Results of the study revealed no significant relationship between social support, self-esteem and depression among University studentsen_US
