dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at investigate the relationship between variables of motivation, counterproductive work behavior and job performance among employees of Equity Bank Uganda. The study sought to examine the hypotheses below; the relationship between motivation and counterproductive work behavior, the influence of counterproductive work behavior and job performance and the influence of motivation and job performance. The objectives of the study are to examine whether motivation and counterproductive work behavior are significantly related, to examine whether counterproductive work behavior and job and to examine whether motivation and job performance are significantly related. The study was conducted using a co-relational survey design among respondents both male and female using a questionnaire with questions and statements that measure motivation, counterproductive work behavior and job performance among employees of Equity Bank. There was a significant relationship between motivation and counterproductive work behavior, between counterproductive work behavior and job performance and between motivation and job performance according to the results obtained. Recommendations and suggestions for future research were made.en_US
