Work life balance is a major concern in organizations. It has been viewed as a huge concern among employees. The actual term Work life balance first appears in the UK in the 80`s as a plank in the women`s liberation movement which advocated for flexible schedules and maternity leave for women. In 1980`s women were finally able to balance between employment and family obligations since they were given maternity leave which many African countries started doing and some like Uganda and Tanzania included it in their Constitution.en_US
