Work life balance, job motivation and employee performance among employees of Plascon Uganda
Abstract
The major purpose of the study was to assess the relationship between work life balance, job Motivation and Employee Performance among employees of Kansai Plascon Uganda. The specific objectives of the study were to assess the relationship between work life balance, employee performance and relationship between job motivation and employee performance, and to find out the influence between work life balance and job motivation among employees The study adopted correlation research design because it is a specific type of nonexperimental design used to describe the relationship between or among variables. The correlation research design was used to measure relationship between work life balance, job Motivation and Employee Performance among employees. Data was presented into statistical information using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS). So the researcher observed and concluded that it is important to note that, the study revealed that there was a significant relationship between work life balance and job motivation among employees, there is no significant relationship between employee performance and job motivation and the study also revealed no significant relationship between work life balance and job performance among employees of Kansai Plascon Uganda. The study recommended that Kansai Plascon should put general guidelines concerning development and training staff. This is because different individuals in the organization are motivated in different ways that is some are intrinsically motivated and others are extrinsically motivated. Therefore once the appropriate factors which make employees motivated are obtained this will consequently promote job performance in the organization.
