dc.description.abstractThe study examined, job insecurity, psychological well-being and organizational commitment among employees. The study was set to examine job insecurity, psychological well-being and organizational commitment among employees of holy cross orthodox mission hospital Namugoona during the Covid- 19 pandemic. A descriptive and correlation study design was used in the study to ascertain the relationship between job insecurity, psychological well-being and organizational commitment and the study used a sample of 30 respondents who were adopted using random sampling technique. The data was collected using the questionnaires and analyzed in the SPSS. There was a no significant relationship between job insecurity and psychological well-being, between job insecurity and organizational commitment. However, there was a positive significant relationship between psychological well-being and organizational commitment according to the results obtained. The study recommended that organizational policies, practices and procedures that are aimed at increasing job security in the organizational like providing employees with benefits such appropriate pay, health care benefits etc., should be encouraged, also organizations should strengthen the already existing measures on job security to help employees become more emotionally and psychologically stable while performing their jobs and generalized personality tests on psychological wellbeing and organizational commitment levels should be considered in the selection process during recruitment.en_US
