This report provided much more details about the Psychological impact of HIV on sufferers and the possible interventions into the Psychological impact of HIV on its sufferers. My respondents were the male and female sufferers of HIV and I obtained my data through interviews got from my HIV respondents who were able to consent. The results indicated that the majority of the HIV sufferers suffer from depression alot and this was attributed to stigmatization and discrimination. Therefore the study concluded that the Psychological impact of HIV on sufferers in order to decrease,it is to improve on their psychological well-being. HIV stigma and discrimination towards PLHIV by family, community members and health care professionals is more of a process that occurs within the social context in Kawempe Division. Lastly, there is need to access to medical services, psychological support services and social services are key to the treatment of women infected with and affected by HIV. To ensure that health services are effective, they need programs centered on women, offering prevention and treatment programs for STIs and HIV/ AIDS. Further more, NGOs who are mostly active in the eradication of HIV/AIDs should also engage in the psychological support and mental health of PLHIV. And lastly, there is also a need for schools that train health care workers who are specialists in Psychological support of HIV patients as well as a need for facilities that can be utilized by any patient regardless of the illness of the psychological support.en_US
