dc.description.abstract | This research was conducted to examine the relationship between occupational stress, job satisfaction and job performance among the lecturers of college of humanities and social sciences in Makerere University. The study intended to achieve the following objectives; to examine the relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction, to assess the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance and finally to ascertain the relationship between occupational stress and job performance. A correlational study design was used in the study to establish the relationship between occupational stress, job satisfaction and job performance among the lecturers of college of humanities and social sciences in Makerere University. The study used a sample of 159 respondents who were adopted using simple sampling technique. Data was therefore collected using self-administered questionnaire and later analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to test the significant of the hypotheses. | en_US |
