dc.description.abstractThe study examined the relationship between social support, stress and substance abuse among adolescents of Makerere Village Kampala district. It was a qualitative research design, which employed a correlational method to investigate, the relationship between social support, stress and substance abuse among adolescents.to obtain the relationship, data obtain was analysed using statistical package for social scientists (SPSS). The results of the study indicated a significant relationship between Social support and stress Results also show that there is no significant relationship between social support and substance abuse among the adolescents (r=.126, p=.212>0.05). This is because p (340.) is greater in magnitude than the level of significant (0.05). There is no significant relationship between social support and substance abuse among adolescents. There is no significant relationship between stress and substance abuse among the adolescents (r=.-.096, p=.340>0.05). This is because p (340.)S). There is no significant relationship between stress and substance abuse among the adolescents.
