Work-life balance, job motivation and job performance among staff of BRAC Uganda, Nsambya Branch
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between work-life balance, job motivation and job performance of Staff of BRAC Uganda, Nsambya Branch. The study employed the quantitative approach research design where a correlational study design was used. The target population of the study included all employees of Staff of BRAC Uganda, Nsambya Branch, both males and females aged between 18-50 years and above who were composed of 36 employees in the selected departments. The instrument used for the study contained already developed standardized questionnaires on work-life balance, job motivation and job performance. Data analysis was done on both descriptive and inferential statistics, interpreted and presented findings understandably and logically. The study shows that there is a positive relationship between employees’ work-life balance and job motivation, there is a positive relationship between employees’ work-life balance and job motivation and there is a negative relationship between employees’ work-life balance and job performance.
