dc.description.abstractThe study examined the relationship between social support, substance abuse and depression among adolescents. The study adopted correlational research design. Self - administered questionnaires with standardized research items were used to collect data. A sample of 100 respondents which consisted of 53 females and 47 males was selected by use of simple random technique. Data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientist (SPSS) was used to test the significance of the hypotheses. Results indicated that there is a significant relationship between social support, substance abuse and depression among adolescents.en_US
