dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between organizational politics, employee engagement and employee retention among health workers of Kampala Hospital. The problem of the study was low employee engagement and employee retention as a result of organizational politics. Kampala Hospital was faced with rampant labor turnover leading to a loss of competent and committed human resource. In response, Kampala Hospital decided to improve salary packages offered to their employees. Regardless of the efforts, labor turnover persisted thus threatening the performance and survival of the Hospital (2011). The following specific objectives will guide the study; i. To examine the relationship between Organizational politics and Employee engagement ii. To examine the relationship between Employee engagement and Employee retention iii. To examine the relationship between Organizational politics and Employee retention. The study used a cross sectional research design. A sample of 50 respondents was selected using the convenient sampling method. The instrument used to collect the data was questionnaires.en_US
