dc.description.abstractThis study concentrated on the relationship between social economic status anxiety and depression among expectant fathers in Uganda. The study was guided by the three specific objectives aimed at determining the relationship between social economic status and anxiety among expectant fathers in Uganda to examine the relationship between anxiety and depression among examine the relationship between social economic status and depression among expectant fathers in Uganda today. The study employed descriptive research design and engaged a sample of 100 respondent’s together data for the study. A sample of 100 respondents was determined using a formula derived by Yamene (1969) stratified random sampling technique was used because it allowed respondents an equal was used because it allowed respondents an equal chance of participating in the study. Questionnaires were used as data collection instruments. Content analysis technique was used to analyses data with the help of excel computer program. The results show that majority as the respondents affirmed to under low social economic status also having depression. Conclusively, it was learnt that expectant father’s always have anxiety and depression in their daily living. It was also learnt that the research conducted at Bless A Child Foundation help the parent and the administration of Bless A Child Foundation to improve on the depressive factors and also to guide the fathers how they can overcome depression. The administration of Bless A Child Foundation should also put in place counseling centre to prevent the underlying factors that lead to depression among expectant fathers and also help them to reduce on their anxiety disorders.en_US
