dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between organizational compassion during COVID-19, job satisfaction and employee engagement. The study employed the use of cross-sectional study design with a sample size of two hundred thirty-four respondents. Organizational Compassion was measured using a 21 item Organizational Compassion Scale, Job Satisfaction was measured using a Short Index of Job Satisfaction – SIJS with 5 items and Employee Engagement was measured using a 9 item Work Engagement Scale. Data was analyzed using the Pearson’s-moment correlation coefficient. The findings revealed that there was a significant relationship between Organizational Compassion and Job Satisfaction, there was a significant relationship between Job Satisfaction and Employee Engagement. Furthermore, the findings portrayed that there was significant relationship between Organizational Compassion and Employee Engagement. Therefore, human resource managers should improve on the organizational support given to their employees which will enhance job satisfaction among the employees. Furthermore, students and other researchers should carry out further research on the variables in the study. This will generate more information about the variables in the studyen_US
