dc.description.abstractEmployees in the Mukwano Tea industry are exposed to many hazards at their workplace and this was likely to influence their levels of job satisfaction if the correct measures are not put in place by their employers. The most affected employees are those who work in factory and agriculture departments (field services and production). The objective of this study was to determine the perceived influence of occupational health and safety practices on job satisfaction among employees of Mukwano tea Company Limited. The study was intending to achieve the following objectives, to examine the relationship between the perceived influence and occupational health and safety practices and determine relationship between occupational health and safety and job satisfaction and finally to ascertain the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance. A correlational study design was used in the study to establish the relationship between occupational health and safety practices, job satisfaction and job performance among employees of Mukwano Tea Company. The research design was a cross-sectional survey design and self-administered structured questionnaire will be used to collect data.en_US
