dc.description.abstractThis report is about the research that was carried out in Makerere University college of Humanities and social sciences, which is located in Kampala-Uganda. This college has five schools and a population of over 1753 students. The variables considered in the study were Personality which includes different traits like openness, conscientiousness, extraversion and agreeableness. Teamwork capacity which represents the individual’s ability to integrate themselves and interact with others to reach shared goals in educational and occupational scenes and Critical thinking which involves the mental processes, strategies, and representations people use to solve problems, make decisions, and learn new concepts. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between personality, teamwork and critical thinking. Questionnaires were used to as tools of data collection from students who were the respondents. The findings after data analysis was that there was a significant relationship between personality and teamwork, personality traits of openness and conscientiousness were correlated to teamwork, extraversion and agreeableness were negatively correlated. The second finding was a positive correlation between teamwork and critical. The last finding was a positive correlation between personality and critical thinking, openness and conscientiousness were positively related to critical thinking unlike extraversion and agreeableness.en_US
