dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between Occupational Stress, Job Security and Employee Performance. The research objectives were (1) to establish the relationship between Occupational Stress and Employee Performance. (2) to establish the relationship between Occupational Stress and Job Security and (3) to examine the relationship between Job Security and Employee Performance. The study employed the descriptive cross sectional survey design. Correlation was used to establish the relationship between occupational stress, job security and employee’s performance as well as testing of the hypothesis. Triangulation method was used for both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Stratified Random Sampling was used to select a sample from each category of employees. Then simple random sampling was used to select respondents from each selected sample. The study adopted self-administered questionnaire and interview guide. The findings reveal that occupational stress has a positive significant influence on employee performance in behavioral, emotional and physiological. The study concluded that occupational stress affects employee performance. Furthermore, the study noted that due to occupational stress, employee performance has been affected greatly as evidenced in their late coming at work, delay in writing reports, slow in coordinating activities among others. The study recommended that Allelua National Health Drink should adopt strategies of managing employee occupational stress through reducing workload, emphasizing on work delegation, creating a conducive working environment, and many others. The study also recommended that Allelua National Health Drink should train their employees in order to enhance their performance.en_US
