Sexual harassment, depression and drug abuse among female students in Universities

The study aims at finding out whether sexual harassment, depression and drug abuse among female students in universities are interrelated. The study reveals that sexual harassment, depression and drug abuse are significantly related, which implies that students who are sexually harassed are at a high risk of developing depressive disorders compared to their colleagues who are not sexually harassed. The study also reveals a significant relationship between depression and drug abuse among female university students, which means that students who are depressed are more likely to engage into drug abuse and vice versa. However, the results revealed a no significant relationship between sexual harassment and depression among female students at universities.
