dc.description.abstractThe study sought to investigate the relationship between perceived threat and violent behaviors among youths in the 2021 General Elections of Uganda.This study involved collection of data from 136 respondents who were all youths. Furthermore, the study was carried out using descriptive and correlational survey design to find out the relationship between the variables. A bivariate correlation produced a positive correlation between Perceived threat and violent behaviors. The respondents also scored highly on the scale of perceived threat. Therefore, the study concluded that the levels of perceived threat among the youth were high during the 2021 General Elections of Uganda. On the other hand, the levels of violent behaviors were high during the 2021 General Elections according to the data that \vas collected and analyzed. Therefore, the research recommended that the Electoral Commission should considerably boost programs such as the election voters" education. This will aid to deny a chance of some key political players who manipulate ignorant citizens to engage into violence for their selfish hidden interests.en_US
