The study sought to find out the relationship between organisational culture and commitment among employees under Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI). The study intended to achieve the following objectives, to examine the levels of organisational culture, to determine the levels of organisational commitment and finally to ascertain the relationship between organisational culture and commitment. A correlational study design was used in the study to establish the relationship between organisational culture and commitment among employees under Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI). The study used a sample of 82 respondents who were subjected to simple random sampling technique, which gave equal opportunity to all members of being selected. Data was then collected using self-administered questionnaires and using a link. Later data was analysed using statistical package for social scientist version 23. (SPSS) and Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was used to test the hypothesis. The findings revealed that there was a significant relationship between organisational culture and organisational commitment (r = 0.609,p<0.000). this meant that the scores of organisational culture influence scores of organisational commitment. Therefore organisations should come up with ideas that could influence organisational culture thereby improving the organisational commitment .en_US
