dc.description.abstractThe aim of the study was to examine the relationship between peer pressure, social support and depression among school going adolescents in Kampala district. A correlation study was used and 126 students participated in this study. A simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents. Structured questionnaires were the main tools in data collection and data was analyzed using statistical packages for social science (SPSS). Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r) was used to determine the level of significance of the hypothesis. Results indicated that there was significant relationship between peer pressure and depression and no relationship between peer pressure and social support and also no relationship between social support and depression.en_US
