| dc.description.abstract | The study sought to investigate the relationship between political sophistication and uncivil behavior among youth in the central region of Uganda. This study involved collection of data from 136 respondents who were all youths. Furthermore, the study was carried out using descriptive and correlational survey design to find out the relationship between the variables. A bivariate correlation produced a positive correction between political sophistication and uncivil behavior. Therefore the study concluded that levels of political sophistication among the youths bring about uncivil behavior. Therefore the research recommended that the arms of government should considerably boost programs such as political education. This will aid to deny a chance of some key political players who manipulate ignorant citizens to engage in to uncivil acts. | en_US |
