Transactional Leadership, Leader Trust and Organizational Commitment among Teachers at Nsangi Secondary School.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Transactional Leadership, Leader Trust and Organizational Commitment among Teachers at Nsangi Secondary school. A cross sectional study design was used to establish the relationship Transactional Leadership, Leader Trust and Organizational Commitment among Teachers at Nsangi Secondary school. The study used a sample size of 40 respondents who were adopted using convenient sampling technique. Data was collected using a structured self-administered questionnaire and later analyzed using statistical package of social scientists (SPSS). Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used to determine the level of significance of the hypotheses. The results from the study indicated that there is a significant relationship between transactional leadership and leader trust. The results also showed that there is a significant relationship between leader trust and organizational commitment; finally, the results of this study revealed that there is no significant relationship between transactional leadership and organizational commitment among teachers at Nsangi Secondary School.
