The study sought to find out the relationship between happiness and job satisfaction among secondary school teachers. The study intended to achieve the following objectives: to examine the levels of happiness, to determine the levels of job satisfaction and finally to find out the relationship between happiness and job satisfaction. A correlational study design was used to establish the relationship between the two variables. The study used a total sample of 143 respondents who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data was then collected using self-administered questionnaires. The research analyzed data using statistical package for social scientist version 23 (SPSS). Percentages and Pearson correlation coefficient (r) were used to test the hypotheses. Results indicated: relatively high levels of happiness, relatively high levels of job satisfaction, and a significant relationship between happiness and job satisfaction (r=.332, p<0.01). Since high levels of both variables were observed, it means that secondary teachers are happy and satisfied with their jobs. Several policies should be drafted by the ministry of education and school heads to make teachers continuously feel happy and satisfied with their jobs so as to promote positive relationships and work life balance.  en_US
