dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship Transactional Leadership, Leader Trust and Job Satisfaction. The study was conducted in Makerere University, Kampala. A cross sectional study design was used to establish the relationship between Transactional Leadership, Leader Trust and Job Satisfaction. The sample size included 44 male and female employees. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaire and was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to determine the level of significance of the hypotheses. Results indicated that there is significant relationship Transactional Leadership and Leader Trust(r= -0.319,p=0.021) as well as there is significant relationship between Leader Trust and Job Satisfaction (r=0.608,p=0.000). Lastly, the results also revealed that there is a significant relationship between Transactional Leadership and Job Satisfaction (r= 0.471, p= .000) among employees at Makerere university.en_US
