dc.description.abstractThe study was about Influence of Career ambition and Perceived Employability on Willingness of Graduates to Join Government Armed Forces. The research aimed at the socio-economic and demographic factors affecting influence of career ambition and perceived employability on willingness of graduates to join government armed forces. The sampling frame was graduates and finalists from different universities and institutions. The sample size was determined by Krejcie and Morgan (1970) sample size table with a population size of about 379 students being selected. Simple random sampling was applied to draw samples from these universities and institutions. Data was collected using closed ended questionnaires online and analysis done using SPSS. Descriptive statistics and Pearson Correlation Coefficient methods were used to examine the Influence of Career ambition and Perceived Employability on Willingness of Graduates to join the army. From the findings, career ambition was significantly related to perceived employability, career ambition was further found to have no significant influence on graduates willingness to join forces and finally perceived employability was found to influence graduates willingness to join the forces.en_US
