dc.description.abstractThe study was aimed at investigating the relationship between Domestic Violence, Self-esteem and Coping Strategies among Adolescents Kampala District. The study adopted a quantitative research design with are correlation method to investigate this relationship. A sample of 100 students were selected to participate in this study. Date obtained was analyzed using statistical package for social scientist version 23. The results from this study indicated that there was no relationship between domestic violence and coping strategies among adolescents (r=.104, p=.147). The results also showed that there no relationship between domestic violence and self –esteem among adolescents (r=.147, p=.138). Finally the study results indicated that there is relationship between self-esteem and coping strategies among adolescents (r =.403**, p =.000). Thus more programs should be put in place to empower adolescents with positive coping strategies.en_US
