dc.description.abstractThis dissertation aimed to investigate the relationship between physical activity levels, sleep quality, fatigue, and task performance among health workers of St. Joseph's Hospital Maracha. Health workers, often face demanding work schedules and high levels of stress, which are vital in providing quality care to patients. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence their task performance was crucial for both their well-being and the overall quality of healthcare. A correlational research design was employed. The sample size consisted of 110 male and female who self-administered the questionnaire on physical activity, sleep quality, fatigue and work performance. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to ascertain the level of significance. The analysis revealed that there was no significant relationship between physical activity and task performance, physical activity and sleep quality, fatigue and task performance, physical activity and fatigue However, there was a negative significant relationship between sleep quality and task performance, sleep quality and fatigue.en_US
