dc.description.abstractThe major purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between psychopathy, motivation and counterproductive work behavior among employees of Cornerstone Development Africa. The specific objectives of the study were to examine the relationship between psychopathy and motivation, the relationship between psychopathy and counterproductive work behavior and the relationship between motivation and counterproductive work behavior. The study adopted correlation research design because it is a specific type of non-experimental design used to describe the relationship between or among variables. The correlation research design was used to measure relationship between psychopathy, motivation and counterproductive work behavior among employees of Cornerstone Development Africa. Data was presented into statistical information using statistical package for social scientists (SPSS) and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) to establish whether the variables were correlated. The results from the study found that there was a significant positive relationship between Psychopathy and motivation, the positive relationship between psychopathy and counterproductive work behavior and study found the positive relationship between motivation and counterproductive work behavior. The study recommended that the employers at Cornerstone Development Africa should investigate the various factors which boost motivation among employees. This is because different individuals in the organization are motivated in different ways that is some are intrinsically motivated and others are extrinsically motivated. Therefore once the appropriate factors which make employees motivated are obtained this will consequently promote high performance in the organization.en_US
