dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Music, Depression and Job Productivity among the Youth Musicians in Makindye. The study sought to achieve different objectives that include; to find out the relationship between music and depression, find out the relationship between music and job productivity, and establish whether music on depression and job productivity are significantly related. Data was collected using a questionnaire and from 146 selected youth musicians from Makindye division in Kampala. Both music and depression were statistically significant predictions of job productivity meaning that generally, the level music and level of depression is likely to influence different changes in job productivity. The results clearly show that music can be both a source of comfort and a potential stressor, depending on individual circumstances and how it is integrated into one's life. It's important for youth musicians to prioritize their mental health, seek support when necessary, and find a balance that allows them to pursue their passion for music while maintaining overall well-being. The relationship between music, depression, and job productivity among youth musicians can vary widely from person to person | en_US |
