dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at investigating the relationship between Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Styles and Job Performance among employees of Britania Allied Industries Limited. The study adopted a quantitative design with a correlation method to determine the existing relationship between variables. A sample of 40 employees was selected to participate in this study. Data was obtained and analyzed using Pearson correction coefficient with statistical package for social scientist (SPSS version 23). The findings of this study revealed that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership styles,(r=.291. p=.068).implying that emotional intelligence has effect on leadership styles. The study findings further revealed that there is a relationship between leadership styles and performance, (.151*, p= .012). Implies that leadership styles does cause change in performance. Lastly the study findings indicated that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and performance,(r =.369**,p .009).en_US
