dc.description.abstractOver the years, employee motivation and organization culture has been found to be of great importance in employee performance and organization performance. Few researches has been done in new cities like Soroti City, and this lack continuous and realistic assessment of the organizational culture, motivation and job performance can affect employees’ achievement of results. This study aimed at determining the relationship between organizational culture, motivation and job performance among employees of Soroti City Council. This study was a correlation study design as it attempted to establish the relationship between motivation, organization culture and job performance among employees in Soroti City. This study used questionnaires to interview 154 respondents as obtained using Krejcie & Morgan chart. The respondents were conveniently sampled and data was collected using self-administered questionnaire and later analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (Version 21). Relationship between performance, motivation and organization culture was determined using correlation analysis. I found that there was a significant relationship between performance and organization culture among the participants (r=-0.281, p=0.00). There was a significant relationship between performance and motivation among the participants (r=-0.210, p=0.009). However, there was to significant relationship between organization culture and motivation (r=0.006, p=0.938). therefore, motivation and organization culture are important predictors of performance.en_US
