dc.description.abstract | The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between leadership styles, employee motivation and employee performance among employees at Nansana Municipal Council. The study intended to achieve three objectives namely; To examine the relationship between leadership styles and employee motivation, to examine the relationship between employee motivation and employee performance and to examine the relationship between leadership style and employee performance. The study population was comprised of employees where Krejci and Morgan’s table was used to determine the sample size that was 86 with the population size of 110 respondents. Simple random sampling was used in this research. Data collection instruments included three questionnaires of leadership style, employee motivation and employee performance. To test the hypothesis, correlation method using SPSS software was used and the results showed that there was a positive significant relationship between leadership styles, employee motivation and employee performance then the conclusion was provided which stated that leadership style affects employee motivation with employee performance and recommendations are also given for example; The results of the study should be used by the public sectors to provide them with information about leadership styles which could assist them in boosting their employee’s motivation with performance at work and organizations should use the research findings to discover motivational factors that could influence proper task performance. | en_US |
