dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between workplace stress, job satisfaction and job performance. The study was intending to achieve objectives: To examine the relationship between workplace stress and coping strategies, to ascertain the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance and to determine the relationship between workplace stress and job performance. The study was using a sample of 80 respondents who were adopted using sampling technique data was collected using self-administered questionnaires and later analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Scientists) version 20.0. The findings show that workplace stress and job satisfaction are positively and significantly related (p=.000 at r=.489) furthermore the findings show that job satisfaction and job performance are positively and significantly related (P=.000, r=.889). However, findings show that workplace stress and job performance are negatively and significantly related (P=.000, r= -.556). But it was recommended that to effectively manage workplace stress, employees can be helped by the management and assistance programs It is further suggested that the employees should be fully told about their job roles and those which might involve stressful conditions.en_US
