dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the relationship between occupational stress, psychological wellbeing and job satisfaction among employees of Case Hospital. The study was guided by objectives that is; to examine the relationship between occupational stress and psychological wellbeing among employees; to investigate the relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction among employees and to examine the relationship between psychological wellbeing and job satisfaction among employees. A correlational research design was adopted. The study population comprised of both male and female employees of Case Hospital. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaires and later analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient technique. The findings revealed a negative significant relationship between occupational stress and psychological wellbeing. Furthermore, no significant relationship was found between occupational stress and job satisfaction. Lastly, findings revealed that psychological wellbeing and job satisfaction had a positive significant relationship. Based on findings and conclusions, it can be recommended that hospital management should have a collaboration with policymakers to formulate a comprehensive strategy for stress reduction management for employees so that they may develop good psychological well-being and perform their duties effectively. Furthermore, trainings, seminars and workshops on psychological wellbeing and stress reduction management should be arranged for employees.en_US
