dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study focused to examine the relationship between personal and organizational factors, stress and turnover among employees at Hariss international limited. The research study sought to achieve the following objectives that is to find out the relationship between organizational factors and stress, to find out whether stress are related to turnover, to find out whether personal factors are related to turnover and to find out the relationship between personal factors and stress. A sample of 66 respondents, who fully participated, filled and completed the questionnaires that qualify for data entry and analysis. A self-administered questionnaire was the main data collection instrument. Data was fast6 entered into excel and then imported into a statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 21 and later was analyzed. The persona biodata was tabulated into frequencies and transformed into percentages. Correlation (Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Co-efficient) was used to test the degree of relationship between the independent variables and dependent variables. The results revealed that there is no significant relationship between organizational factors and stress, the results also revealed that there is appositive significant relationship between stress and turn over, results also revealed that there is no significant relationship between personal factors and turnover and results also revealed that there is no significant relationship between personal factors and stress. Results from the study showed that there is a positive relationship between stress and turnover therefore the top management at Hariss international limited needs to provide conducive and favorable conditions at work place to reduce stress among employees in quality control department since stress has positive relationship with turnover. Furthermore management needs to ensure that they conduct a personality test survey to ensure that different personality traits are established within the organizationen_US
