dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the relationship between motivation, job satisfaction and turnover intentions among employees of Jinja Municipal Council Headquarters. The study adopted a correlationalresearch design. Simple randomsampling technique was used to draw a sample of 80respondents from the population. Data was collected from respondents using self-administered standard questionnairesand through entering fully filled questionnaires into computer software program called Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)version 23,data was analyzed. Results from Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (r) indicated that there was apositive significant relationship between motivation and job satisfaction; there was no significant relationship between motivation and turnover intention.There was a no significant relationship between job satisfactionand turnover intentions.It is recommended therefore that organizations, should take all the necessary steps to promote motivation among employees as this will in turn help raise the level employees are satisfied with their job.en_US
