Stress, self-esteem and depression among the juveniles

The study aimed at examining the relationship between stress, Self esteem and Depression among Juvenile delinquents. The study was conducted in Naguru Children remand home located in Nguru go down opposite Uganda and China friendship hospital in Kampala district. A correlational study design was used and 100adolescents participated in this study. Semi-structured questionnaires were the main tools in data collection and data was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to determine the level of significance of the hypotheses. Results indicated that there is a significant relationship between stress and Selfesteem, Depression among juveniledeliquents.
