dc.description.abstractThis research's purpose was to examine the relationship between Decent Work Environment, Employee Engagement and Organizational Commitment among lecturers of Makerere University. For the three concepts, the research was a cross sectional study was carried out on 64 lecturers of Makerere University and the respondents were chosen using convenient sampling. The research data was collected using self-administered questionnaires carried out in Makerere University. The research data entry was done using Statistical Package for Social Scientists and analyzed the relationships using Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Correlation. The findings per all objectives were that there was a significant positive relationship between the variables for of this study. The findings will help Makerere University better understand ways of creating competitive advantage through their human resource by appreciating the effects of a decent working environment for their employees.en_US
